The updates on COVID-19 in Korea as of 15 September

As of 0:00, 15 September 2020, the total number of confirmed cases is 22,391 (including 3,029 imported cases), of which 18,878 cases have been discharged from isolation. There are 91 new local cases, 15 new imported cases, and 4 new deaths.

2,642 eligible people have signed up to donate their plasma for the development of COVID-19 plasma therapy. Plasma collection has been completed for 1,957 people. KDCA thanks all volunteers and encourages more people to participate.

 

Convalescent plasma has been given to 39 COVID-19 patients in 7 hospitals.

 

Remdesivir has been supplied to 370 COVID-19 patients in 53 hospitals.

 

Social Distancing Level 2 is in effect for the greater capital area until 27 September. KDCA requests the public to continue to follow the guidelines for COVID-19 prevention.
