As of 0:00, 6 September 2020, the total number of confirmed cases is 21,177 (including 2,892 imported cases), of which 16,146 cases have been discharged from isolation. There are 152 new local cases, 15 new imported cases, and 1 new death.

Major local clusters as of 12:00 today (6 September):

Related to Sarang Jeil Church in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul City, 6 additional cases were confirmed from contact investigation. In total, 1,162 cases have been confirmed.

- 1,078 cases total in capital area (Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi)

- 84 cases total in other areas

 

Related to August 15 Seoul rallies, 17 additional cases were confirmed from investigation. In total, 527 cases have been confirmed.

- Rally related (208), further transmissions (256), police (8), under investigation (55)

- 260 cases total in capital area (Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi)

- 267 cases total in other areas

 

Related to Jinheung Global in Dongjak-gu, Seoul City, 2 additional cases were confirmed from contact investigation. In total, 41 cases have been confirmed.

 

Related to Seoul BF Mobile Tele-marketing Call Center, first case was confirmed on 4 September and 15 additional cases were confirmed. In total, 16 cases have been confirmed. Further investigation is underway.

 

Related to Pyeongtaek-si Seohaero Church, Gyeonggi, 5 additional cases, who are medical staff at Good Morning Hospital in Pyeongtaek, were confirmed. In total, 21 cases have been confirmed.

 

Related to Buk-gu Jungheoung Training Center, Kwangjoo, first case was confirmed on 25 August and 6 additional cases were confirmed. In total, 7 cases have been confirmed. Further investigation is underway.

 

Related to officetel related to real estate auction in Yeonje-gu, Busan City, 6 additional cases were confirmed from contact investigation. In total, 25 cases have been confirmed.

 

Imported cases as of 0:00, 6 September:

15 new imported cases

- 4 confirmed at the point of entry and 11 were confirmed in the community while in mandatory self-quarantine after arrival

- 9 Korean nationals and 6 foreign nationals
