Remdesivir has been supplied to 409 patients in 58 hospitals.

There have been 4 clusters (56 cases) related to religious facilities in September.

In some facilities, in-person service/mass occurred without proper ventilation

Small gatherings such as online worship preparation team meetings or conversations over lunch/dinner before or after services occurred without proper mask wearing

KDCA asks the public to avoid all in-person gatherings and asks religious facilities to have all religious activities in non-face-to-face ways

KDCA asks the public to take precautions when engaging in outdoor activities during fall season when tick-borne and rodent-borne infectious diseases increase.

Wear long sleeve shirts and long pants to minimize skin exposure when hiking, farming, etc.

Wear long boots when working near standing water

Those who work outdoors frequently (such as soldiers and farmers) are recommended to get vaccinated for HFRS

Get treated as soon as possible if having suspected symptoms

* Critical: patients treated with mechanical ventilator, ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)

* Severe: patients treated with oxygen mask and high flow oxygen therapy

* ICU treatment is decided based on the need for intensive care based on factors such as clinical condition and presence of any underlying medical condition and may differ from severe and critical case classification criteria. The number of severe/critical cases may not match the number of patients in ICU.
