Awareness, treatment, and control rates of hypercholesterolemia among Korean adults aged 30 years and over, 2007-2017
Between 2007 and 2017, awareness, treatment and control rates of hypercholesterolemia had been on the rise. The percentages of awareness and treatment were 58.9% and 48.7% in the time period of 2016-2017. The percentage of controlled hypercholesterolemia was twice higher among those who were on treatment (84.1%) than among those who had hypercholesterolemia (41.7%) (Figure A).
