Trends of annual injury experience rate, 2007-2017


Annual injury experience rate among Korean adults aged 19 and over had been on the rise from 5.9% in 2007 to 9.1% in 2015, and then decreased to 6.5% in 2017. The corresponding rate among children and adolescents aged 1-18 years had decreased from 8.2% in 2007 to 6.9% in 2017, with fluctuant pattern (a reduction of 1.3 percentage points) (Figure A).
