Trends in Prevalence of Obesity, 2007-2017


Prevalence of obesity among those aged 19 years and over (age standardized) increased by 2.4%p, from 31.7% in 2007 to 34.1% in 2017. (Men: by 5.4%p, from 36.2% to 41.6%. Women: more or less constant, from 26.3% to 25.6%). The prevalence in male was 1.6 higher than that in female (Figure 1).
