In Korea, Brucellosis has been a notifiable infectious disease since 2000. From 2009 to 2018, 135 cases were reported. The
10 imported cases were primarily related to raw meat and unpasteurized milk, and the domestic cases were related to
contact with livestock infected with Brucella. This study’s findings suggested that when travelling abroad, raw meat and
unpasteurized milk should not be consumed and individuals engaged in high-risk occupations should wear protective
equipment.
