Health Behavior (Smoking, Drinking, etc.) of Diabetics, 2007-2017


The current smoking rate of diabetics aged 30 and older decreased from 23.7% in 2007 to 20.1% in 2017 (3.6%p decreases). The Prevalence of obesity has not changed significantly from 52.8 percent in 2007 to 53.9 percent in 2017. As of 2017, 2 out of 10 diabetics (aged 30 and older) are currently smoking, with 5.4 being obese (Figure 1).
