Trends in rate of annual drunk driving for motorcars and motorcycles, 2007-2017


Rate of annual drunk driving for motorcars and motorcycles decreased by 8.7%p, from 17.2% in 2007 to 8.5% in 2017 (for men the
decrease was 11.0%p from 22.0% to 11.0%, for women the decrease was 2.0%p from 6.0% to 4.0%). The decrease was more prominent
in men than women. In the year 2017, 1 out of every 10 male drivers responded to have experienced drunk driving (Figure 1).
