Influenza weekly surveillance report(week 40, 2023)

Oct 1 to 7, 2023 (Week 40)



1. ILI(Influenza like Illness) surveillance

In week 40 2023, overall weekly influenza-like illness (ILI) rate was 14.6‰, which was lower than 20.8‰ recorded in the previous week.


2. Virus surveillance

In week 40 2023, out of the 127 respiratory specimens, 22 samples (17.3%) were positive for influenza virus. (2 for A/H3N2, 20 for A/H1N1pdm09)
