10 Management of Organ and
Tissue Donation Registration

Donation registration is a declaration of organ donation at the time of death without any profit. This campaign, in accordance with the organ transplant laws article 15 “Registration of Organ Donation” and article 7-2 “Registration of Organ Donor,” provides services for registration of organ donation at our agencies.

Since 1999, KONOS, in accordance with Organ Transplant Laws, has been providing services for equal treatment to all patients in need of transplants, managing organization of all organ donors, and raising public awareness on organ donations. The registration of organ donation is a declaration of organ donation at the time of death or brain death without any profit. This campaign, in accordance with the organ transplant laws article 15 “Registration of Organ Donation” and article 7-2 “Registration of Organ Donor,” provides services for registration of organ donation at our agencies.

What is Organ/Tissue Donation?

  • Organ Donation: Donating one’s own organs to be transplanted for patients in need without any profit
    • Donation (Brain Death): In accordance with Organ Transplant Laws, donating after proper brain death evaluation procedures.
    • Donation (Death): Donating after the cardiac death

What is Tissue Donation?

  • Donation of any part of human tissue for patients in need after death without any profit

  3. 3. Verify self via cell phone or accredited certificate
  4. 4. Fill out the application for the registration
  5. 5. Submit

  3. 3. Fill in the required information
  4. 4. Receive the application at the written address

What is Tissue Donation?

When completing the donation application, if “yes” on “show organ donor,” there will be a sign indicating organ donor on the new/renewed driver’s license.

Until the new/renewed driver’s license is issued, a sticker will be given for the government ID
