Trends in proportion of Korean adults with high mental stress, 2007-2016

With regard to the proportion of people with high mental stress (age standardized) among Korean adults aged 19 years and over, three out of 10 adults reported ‘extreme’ or ‘high’ stress in 2016. The proportion was higher in women (30.6%) than men (28.2%) by 2.4%p, and this trend has been maintained for the past nine years (Figure A).
