International comparison of perceived health status among OECD countries in 2016 (or nearest available year)

In the comparison of health status of the year 2016 among OECD countries, the proportion of people who perceived themselves to be in good or very good health, among those aged 15 years and over, was 32.5% in Korea (35.8% in men, 29.2% in women), which was much lower than the OECD average of 68.3% (70.7% in men, 66.0% in women). Korea ranked the lowest, following Japan (35.5%), and Latvia (47.2%) (Figure A).
