Survival and neurological recovery rates among Korean patients with sudden cardiac arrest, 2006-2017

During 2006-2017, the survival rate among Korean patients with sudden cardiac arrest rose to 8.7%, which was an increment of 6.4 percentage points and 3.8 folds higher than 2.3% in 2006. Furthermore, the neurological recovery rate also rose to 5.1% with an increment of 4.5 percentage points and 8.5 folds up from 0.6% in 2006 (Figure A).
