Self-perceived health status among Korean adults aged 19 years and over, 2007-2017

The age-standardized rate of Korean adults (aged ≥ 19 years) who perceives themselves to be healthy, had steadily been on the decrease since 2009 (from 43.9% in 2009 to 29.2% in 2017). In 2017, only 2.9 out of 10 adults reported their health status as good (marked as “Good” or “Very Good”) (Figure A).
