Influenza weekly surveillance report(week 53, 2022)

December 25 to 31, 2022 (Week 53)


1. ILI(Influenza like Illness) surveillance
In week 53 2022, overall weekly influenza-like illness (ILI) rate was 60.7‰, which was higher 55.4‰ recorded in the previous week.


2. Virus surveillance
In week 53 2022, out of the 294 respiratory specimens, 89 samples (30.3%) were positive for influenza virus (87 for A/H3N2, 1 for A/H1N1pdm09, 1 for B)
