Influenza weekly surveillance report(week 18, 2023)

April 30 to May 6, 2023 (Week 18)


1. ILI(Influenza like Illness) surveillance
In week 18 2023, overall weekly influenza-like illness (ILI) rate was 23.7‰, which was higher 23.0‰ recorded in the previous week.


2. Virus surveillance
In week 18 2023, out of the 317 respiratory specimens, 41 samples (12.9%) were positive for influenza virus. (22 for A/H3N2, 15 for A/H1N1pdm09, 4 for B)
