Influenza weekly surveillance report(week 19, 2023)

May 7 to 13, 2023 (Week 19)


1. ILI(Influenza like Illness) surveillance
In week 19 2023, overall weekly influenza-like illness (ILI) rate was 23.4‰, which was lower 23.7‰ recorded in the previous week.


2. Virus surveillance
In week 19 2023, out of the 287 respiratory specimens, 34 samples (11.8%) were positive for influenza virus. (23 for A/H3N2, 6 for A/H1N1pdm09, 5 for B)
