Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the relation between dental health behaviors and socioeconomic status among Korean adolescents. Method: We requested and obtained '2006 Youth Behavior Risk Factor Surveillance 71,404 subjects database' which executed from 'Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention'. We conducted statiscally analyzed using simple logistic regression and multivariate logistic to determine the relation between dental health behaviors and socioeconomic status. Result: Compared to adolescents in high-socioeconomic group, adolescents in medium or low-socioeconomic group had more likely poor dental health behaviors(P<0.05,0.01,0.001). Conclusion: Because of the strong relation with socioeconomic factors, must consider it when we improve of oral health by behavioral change. |
