Rate of exposure to secondhand smoke among people aged 19 years and over (2007-2016)

만19세 이상 현재비흡연자의 가정실내에서 간접흡연 노출률은 2007년 14.7%에서 2016년 6.4%로 지난 10년 동안 8.3%p 감소하였으며, 직장실내의 간접흡연 노출률은 2007년 46.0%에서 2016년 17.4%에 비해 28.6%p 감소하였음. 특히 2012년 이후 지속적인 공공장소 금연구역 확대로 인해 직장실내와 공공장소실내 간접흡연 노출률은 감소경향이 뚜렷하였음(그림 A).

"Rate of exposure to secondhand smoke at home amongst people aged 19 years and over" showed a 8.3%p decrease over the past decade (from 14.7% in 2007 to 6.4% in 2016). "Rate of exposure to secondhand smoke in indoor working areas" showed a 28.6%p decrease (from 46.0% in 2007 to 17.4% in 2016). The declines in the rates of exposure to secondhand smoke in indoor working areas and indoor public areas became especially prominent after the year 2012, most probably due to continuous expansion of non-smoking areas (Figure A).
