Trends in prevalence of depressive disorder among Korean adults aged 19 years and over, 2014 and 2016

[정의] 우울장애유병률 : 우울증선별도구(PHQ-9) 총점 27점 중 10점 이상인 분율

만 19세 이상의 한국인 우울장애 유병률(연령표준화)은 2014년 6.6%에서 2016년 5.6%로 2년 동안 1.0%p 감소하였음(여자는 8.8%에서 7.0%로 1.8%p감소하고, 남자는 0.2%p 감소로 감소폭이 미미했음). 2016년 기준으로 여자(7.0%) 유병률이 남자(4.1%)보다 1.7배 높았음(그림 A).

Age-standardized prevalence rate of depressive disorder among Korean adults aged 19 years and over decreased from 6.6% in 2014 to 5.6% in 2016 by 1.0%p. Specifically, in women, it was reduced from 8.8% to 7.0% by 1.8%p, whereas, in men, it declined from 4.3% to 4.1%, indicating no significant change over time. In 2016, the prevalence was 1.7-fold higher in women (7.0%) than in men (4.1%) (Figure A).
