What is Q-CODE (Pre-questionnaire systems for quarantine nformation)?
- The method of undergoing quarantine by entering health status using a mobile phone and obtaining a QR code.
- A system established by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency to shorten the quarantine investigation time required upon entering South Korea and to facilitate the convenience of international entrants.
Targets for Entry
- Inbound travelers departing from (staying in or transiting through) key quarantine control areas
- Travelers entering from quarantine management regions (either as their point of stay or transit) who exhibit symptoms such as fever or cough
Input Procedure
- Access Q-CODE (Pre-questionnaire systems for quarantine information) website (via mobile or PC) → Enter entry and stay information → Enter quarantine information → Enter health status → Issuance of QR code

Important Information
- Q-CODE can be registered starting 7 days before arriving in South Korea.
- Quarantine information is encrypted and stored in the QR code, so if modifications to the quarantine information are necessary, you must input the information in the system from the beginning and issue a new QR code.
- The issued QR code must be presented to the quarantine officer upon entry or scanned at the automated quarantine inspection station.
