Method
- The report was produced through a systematic review, writing, and verification process by an expert network of about 40 experts from various fields, led by the Integrated Knowledge Center on Tobacco Harm (Professor Sungil Cho's team at Seoul National University), which synthesized the results of smoking harm policy research and outcomes from the private, public, and academic sectors over the past 10 years.

Main Content
- The "Comprehensive Report on Tobacco Harm" consists of a total of 7 chapters, synthesizing domestic and international research findings on trends and factors of tobacco use, nicotine addiction, treatment and smoking cessation interventions, the health harms of smoking, and the impact of smoking and smoking cessation on the burden of disease.
- Additionally, it aims to present the current status and outcomes of domestic tobacco control policies and to propose future strategic plans for achieving a tobacco endgame.
